On October 26, 2017, Paul Newman's Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, was auctioned off at the Phillips Auction House in New York City for $17.8 million. We are thrilled that our longtime board member, James Cox, has announced to pledge a portion of the funds from the sale of this very special watch to the Nell Newman Foundation, Inc.  Mr. Cox has been a longtime, dear friend of the Newman family, and this contribution to our private foundation is a meaningful demonstration of this friendship.  

For over five years, our foundation has worked very strategically to give to organizations for the best and high impact uses.  Mr. Cox's pledge will support our giving for years to come.  Our website has more information on the worthy organizations our foundation has funded over the years.  Again, we are so appreciative that Mr. Cox chose our foundation as the right match for his philanthropic vision.
